When dealing with an adjuster they will want to take a recorded statement from you. Be wary of open ended questions and questions that assume a certain response.
An example of a trick question is:
“What did you do to prevent the accident?”
This question assumes that there was something you could have done to prevent the accident. There were numerous examples of these types of questions, which the adjusters have been trained to ask.
Another area of inquiry is injuries sustained in the accident. The very wary of questions asked shortly after the accident about your diagnosis and issues. Many times within a day or two of the accident people do you not know the true extent of their injuries! This is mainly due to more specialized testing not been done at the emergency room.
Emergency rooms are to treat life threatening situations and emergency situations. The fact that your x-rays are clear does not mean that you may not have serious spinal cord injuries.
