A Houston man is dead and a woman was taken to the hospital as a result of a Saturday night motorcycle accident on Houston highway 288.
According to initial reports, investigators believe that the motorcycle driver hit a guardrail and lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcyclists were not wearing protective gear according to authorities.
The woman who is believed to have been the passenger on a motorcycle has been listed as critical condition at Ben Taub Hospital.
Both the SW. Freeway and Hwy. 288 were closed while authorities investigated the motorcycle crash.
