Northwest Harris County Students Injured In Bus Accident

Police indicated a Toyota Camry pulled out of an intersection in front of a Houston school bus. The bus driver couldn’t stop in time, and struck the car according to reports by KTRV Houston 13.

Three students were seen at Methodist Hospital in Willowbrook for injuries.

Students on buses in Texas are particularly at risk for injury from auto accidents because Texas does not require seat belts on the bus.  Let’s hope and pray that one of our elected officials wakes up and supports a bill requiring seatbelts for our Texas Children who ride the bus.
