I person suspected of drunk driving, was charged with driving under the influence after crashing into an officers car in a Houston auto accident and totaling the police car.
The officer was taken to Mainland Medical Center to be treated for facial cuts.
According to reports, other charges may be pending against the driver and her passengers.
While it does not appear from reports that the officer suffered serious injury, this is a good time to talk about the 100 Club again. The 100 Club was started in 1953 when officers each contributed $100 to help the family of a fallen Houston Police Officer.
