A driver and his passenger were fatally injured when their car crashed into another vehicle and then into a brick wall in northwest Harris County.
According to the Houston Police, a man and his female passenger were traveling southbound on Veterans Memorial when they ran a red light and smashed into a Toyota SUV and then into the concrete wall under the Sam Houston Beltway. Witnesses say the car was seen speeding in excess of 100 mph. when the car accident occurred.
The driver and passenger of the speeding car both died at the scene, and a man in the Toyota SUV was injured and taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
